When You Do Things, Things Happen!

Waking up in Woodstock NY

My humble quarters in Woodstock NY.

This was my first living arrangement outside New York City, where I spent many years fruitlessly trying to find a way to exist in a busy metropolis. All of my humble possessions could comfortably fit into a small SUV, and I bravely disconnected myself from the city chaos. I picked a small studio in Woodstock NY, close to various skiing resorts and a Buddhist monastery, which is what I needed to keep practicing the teachings.

I was carrying an overload of subconscious information bestowed upon me during my Peruvian travels. My mind was bursting with ideas and my heart was still heavy from previous experiences. I needed a way to create my new life, free from the confusion of the accepted reality. At the time this seemed like a humongous undertaking, and I had many moments of hopelessness and despair.

The light of wisdom carried within the Buddhist texts gave me the language to express my developing intuition, and I treasured each one with much gratitude. My connection with medicinal plants was also growing, quickly uncovering the fog of memories carried from previous lifetimes. I visited the Buddhist monastery many times, joining the monks for a morning Tara puja or simply meditating in the main hallway, decorated with the thangkas of the Kagyu lineage.

This was the pivotal moment in my life, allowing for many realizations to manifest into a vision of a brave new timeline, paving the way to embody the divine presence of my higher self. To this day, I am deeply grateful to myself for all the hardships endured throughout the years, daily pushing the limits of my body and spirit into a higher state of existence.

May my experiences inspire and motivate others!
